Payment and Orders
On completion of your online order, you have the option to pay by Credit Card -Visa or MasterCard, PayPal, AfterPay, Zip Pay or by Bank Transfer.
The purchase of the goods takes place at the time of order and payment. We can not accept order cancellations once the shipment of goods is in process. Please note that we do not accept any international orders, and if payment is processed you will be promptly refunded.
Packing and Freight
The fee charged for shipping includes an allowance for packing, freight, and transit insurance. All shipments include tracking to your nominated shipping address. If delivery is delayed, you agree that late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle you to the cancellation of the order. Extra fees from the freight company may be applicable if the goods cannot be received upon the first attempt at your nominated shipping address.
We always reserve the right to review the freight fee on any shipment, and the outcome may result in the freight fee being higher than what was quoted or paid at the time of order. In such a case, we will contact you before dispatch to receive an additional payment. You will have the opportunity to cancel your order and receive a full refund if you do not agree to accept the additional fee. Please note that "Free Shipping" may not apply to certain destinations.
Inspection of Goods
It is your responsibility to check the completeness of the shipment against what was ordered and listed on the Tax Invoice. Any visible damage to packaging must be documented (a photograph must be taken) and notification made to the freight courier. Lithium Essentails must be advised in writing (via the Contact Us form) along with proof of damage within one day of receiving the shipment.
You are responsible for advising us by the Contact Us form within 24 hours of receiving the goods of any discrepancy in the shipment contents so that the list of received goods can be compared to our records of what was sent. If we do not receive notification within 24 hours of your receipt of the goods, the shipment will be deemed "delivered in full". We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items stolen, lost, or damaged after delivery has taken place.
International / Overseas Shipping
We do not send outside of Australia.
Refunds and Returns
Exchange of goods policy
Always contact Lithium Essentials by the Contact Us section of our website, then chose “Order issue/returns” and fill out the required details on the form, then wait for our instructions before returning any goods.
If you wish to return a product and exchange it for another item, we will offer a store credit (available to use 48 hours after the product has been received at our warehouse) this allows us time to verify the product is in an “as new” saleable condition and to process the store credit onto your account.
Refunds policy
Lithium Essentials abides by the Australian Consumer Rights & Guarantees Policy (https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/consumer-rights-guarantees).
Always contact Lithium Essentials by the Contact Us section of our website, then chose “Order issue/returns” and fill out the required details on the form, then wait for our instructions before returning any goods.
The amount refunded will be less 10% of the value for goods including GST.
Important information applicable to our Exchange and Refund of goods policies
- Our Exchange and refund policies are subject to the goods being returned at your expense in an as-shipped, saleable condition including, original packaging. The packaging must be in a re-saleable condition. Please contact Lithium Essentials via the Contact Us section of our website with photo proof that the packaging is in re-saleable condition to ensure the product can be returned.
- The refund will be calculated as the purchase price of the product, less any processing fee and paid in the same way as the original payment.
- We do not accept returns or exchanges of goods after 30 days from the date goods are received.
- Some products, including custom-made, special orders and products bought in commercial quantities may not be returnable unless a warranty or guarantee is breached. Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or Consumer Guarantees Act (NZ).
- Please note: All batteries are non-stocked, special order items, so will not be accepted for return or exchange.
- We do not refund the original outgoing or the return costs of freight on any returned or exchanged item.
Please note our Special Order policies and process below:
Special Orders are sold firm sale. This means:
- You cannot cancel a special order once it is placed with our supplier.
- You cannot return a specially ordered item for a refund or exchange.
- You cannot return a special order because you have changed your mind, or the item is different to what you were expecting.
- You cannot return a special order because you have found it cheaper elsewhere after placing the order.
